House Speaker Ryan Fecteau issues statement on Governor’s State of the Budget Address

AUGUSTA- House Speaker Ryan Fecteau, D-Biddeford, released the following statement in response to Governor Janet Mills’ State of the Budget Address:

“In her address tonight, Governor Mills talked about putting the people of Maine first. I believe she is steadfast in her commitment to making progress for Maine families while maintaining fiscal responsibility,” said Speaker Ryan Fecteau. “To address the challenges we face – the cost and availability of housing and childcare, rising property taxes, and access to healthcare – Democrats are ready to work with our Republican colleagues and Governor Mills to produce a budget that makes a real difference for Maine people and keeps our state moving forward.”
